[Mailing #44] Wrapping up registration
Dear BTC-24 victims,
As you are aware, current registration to join the legal action is closed. At the moment I have confirmation that the lawyer has sent out e-mails to all the victims that have registered through me. If you have -not- received an email from the lawyer yet, contact me as soon as possible.
At the moment the current count is:
54 registered
35 have sent their personal information and received an invoice
13 have completed payment
7 have received their power of attorney receipt
First of all, we are with many so this will give a strong signal to the prosecutor to give this case priority. However, I have to urge that still 19 people have to send their information and a total of 41 will have to complete payment before end of the week.
Bank transfers can take up to a few business days so please give this priority. Thank you.
Any donation is welcome at wallet: 12eEc2AHzpdw37udZ95Qg3Av3ahwyii47T
It is also possible to transfer donations via Bankwire, if you are willing to donate via that route, please contact me personally for further details. Donations done through bankwire will also be posted anonymized on the forum for transparency and verification purposes.
Regards,
Jeff

Re: [Mailing #44] Wrapping up registration
Not only payment takes time.
I posted the signed power of attorney letter by registered letter on Feb 17th in Southern Germany. And I received a status message on Feb 20th, that is just arrived at Frankfurt international logistics center. So it took 3 days for just 100 km. It will take more than a week to the lawyer, I guess.

Which kinds of narrows the options down to only sending a digital scan, rather than using the postal services.

At the moment the current count is:
59 registered (1 has resigned)
54 have sent their personal information and received an invoice
42 have completed payment
38 have received their power of attorney receipt
I have contacted the remaining 5 users to send their information this week.
I have contacted the remaining 12 users to complete their payment.
Almost there.

Re: [Mailing #44] Wrapping up registration
I understand needing some time to send funds, but if anyone hasn't at least initiated their payment and the mailing of the PoA form, then I don't think they should be allowed to participate. They have had over a month, and we can't wait forever. If we have about 50 people in the group ready to move forward, then that should be enough, in my opinion.

Re: [Mailing #44] Wrapping up registration
Law firm and I have decided last friday was the last day to register (read: also making sure the payment came across, it took quite some time for some of the victims so I wanted to be lenient in this). I am currently waiting for news in which next step he will take and what outcome it could bring. As soon as I have more information I will send out a mailing.
Re: [Mailing #44] Wrapping up registration
I never got any confirmation from my registration to the newsletter (quiet a while ago) ..
hence I came here to check just a bit too late to get on your bot guys ...
so I'm asking :
1 - is it really too late to join you ?
2 - if I can not join, will I be able to claim my remaining 28% at some point ? (a bit more than 1000 €)
thx
