I agree that we are certainly due for an update. 7 months seems far too long for some lawyers to be notified of a case outcome. Is that really what we're still waiting on? Is the process really this slow?

However, I worry that pressing charges against Simon will only slow the process.

The amount of work that Jeff (and others) have put in over the years would not be justified by the amount of money they would make from scamming us. It just simply wouldn't make sense. Indeed it is suspicious that many more people are showing up claiming lost bitcoins after years of opportunities to register with us. I think we should focus on continuing on the path we are on (recovering our fiat from the newly-unfrozen Polish account) before we start expanding our ambitions. Sorr...
