Re: [Mailing #67] Summary of the past 6 months

As it currently stands, BNP might be a serious candidate for a bank account; read: it hasn't been declined (yet?) and it seems he passed all checks (for now?). You might notice I am a little bit reserved as this isn't the first time the situation looked more hopeful to only collapse moments later. W...

Re: [Mailing #67] Summary of the past 6 months

Current status is that out of the 2 other banks only BNP is in the race. I believe Simon plans on visiting the bank himself (which already has been his ambition since beginning of 2020 as far as I know) but needs to be vaccinated first in order to not be placed 10 days in quarantine.

Re: [Mailing #67] Summary of the past 6 months

The latest news i've received was that at the moment there were attempts to get an account at these 4 banks: PKO, mBank, Millennium, Citi and Alior. Unfortunately they all rejected the request. I'm not sure why but I can make an educated guess. The process is now currently ongoing with 2 other banks...

Re: [Mailing #67] Summary of the past 6 months

... Hi, There are a few points in your post that I'd like to address from what I know. There was clear fuck up happening with BTC balances on known valets linked to BTC24 at the time when it went down (2013). We can only speculate how much this "freeze of German and Polish accounts by authorities" ...

[Mailing #67] Summary of the past 6 months

Dear BTC-24 victims, It's been more than 6 months since my last mailing. Developments have been slow and adding a pandemic to the whole doesn't help much either. To recap where we are currently; the Polish prosecutor has lifted the charges meaning the confiscated funds are now at Santander in Poland...

[Mailing #66] Reconstruction of the last few months

Dear BTC-24 victims, It's been a while since the last mailing and generally that means that progress has continued to be slow. In my last mailing I spoke of the writing of a solicitor having to arrive in order for the bank blockade to lift.  To give some more perspective to what has happened I've ad...

Re: [Mailing #65] Slow progress

Hi Jeff, some months ago you gave us a ray of hope, but now it seems quite obvious that the response from the director of the polish bank is just a joke.. Thanks for your effort anyway. While I agree, yet again, it's taking long. There is still progress. The entire process of getting the documents ...

Re: [Mailing #65] Slow progress

As it stands at the moment, Simon is still awaiting response from the director of the polish bank to have a meeting. The deadline for that meeting has passed so I'm doing my best to find out about the current status. When I have an update, I'll send out another mailing.

[Mailing #65] Slow progress

Dear BTC-24 victims, It's been a while since the last update. Quite frankly progress has been slow unfortunately. In the last mailing I mentioned that a document had to be translated and re-submitted. After re-submitting the document; a new list of documents were yet again requested from the bank. I...
